EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - TERESE JOHANSSON, CUSTOMER ONBOARDING TEAM MANAGER, STOCKHOLM🇸🇪
Terese has been part of Younium since late 2019 (she's old in the game now 😎) and she manages the Customer Onboarding team.
Terese lives outside of Stockholm, where she was born and raised. She is a real animal geek who spends most of her free time with her dog and partner. Together, they have recently bought a house with a fairly large garden, so during the upcoming holidays she plans to explore and see if gardening becomes a future interest or not. 🌻🏡
Name a fun fact about yourself.
During a period of my life, I worked in a stable and took care of about 75 horses. After a while, I decided it was time to go back to my previous job with service in the hotel and restaurant industry to also have some time to study. I made some jokes that I was going to injure myself on the last day working there (classic jinx). Very true, on the last day, I was kicked by a horse, in my face. It went well under the circumstances (hence the fun fact), but I was not completely satisfied when I had to go back to my service job with a sore and swollen face. 🐎😱
Where is your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
My favorite place I ever visited is definitely Sydney. There is something about that city that has always made me feel at home. A perfect mix between city life, beaches, and green areas.
Name three things you always keep in your fridge.
At least five types of sauces (you can never have too much sauce), Oatly ikaffe and looots of vegetables.
Name something you are passionate about.
My big passion is definitely animals. I have always been an animal person and am passionate about basically anything to do with animals. I currently spend most of my time on dog training together with my dog. I have also spent many of my years in the stables, both as work but also as a hobby. I also have a burning interest in animal rights. In short, in my opinion, animals are the best thing that exists on this planet.
Name the top 3 best things with Younium
The absolute best thing with Younium is the people and culture. A constant desire to strive forward and to improve. The team has grown a lot since I started in 2019 but still feels like a close team that works together and in a humble way. Also, the flexibility when it comes to working from home or from the office helps a lot in everyday life. In short, the people, the culture, and the flexibility.
