EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - HANNA LARSSON, MARKETING COORDINATOR, STOCKHOLM 🇸🇪
Hanna was born and raised in Västerås, where she lived up until recently, when she fulfilled a dream by moving right into the heart of Stockholm.
She enjoys working out at the gym, going to concerts and festivals with her friends, and spending time with her family.
Her ideal vacation involves sunbathing all day and enjoying everything that comes with it: the relaxation, the charcuterie, the cheese, and the wine 🧀☀️. At the same time, she also loves heading north for a winter skiing trip ⛷.
Dance was a big part of Hanna’s life growing up. For seven years she competed in disco dance, training several hours a day and regularly taking part in competitions 👯.
Hanna, name something you are passionate about.
I really like designing things like presentations, quizzes, or invitations for parties. I tend to really go all in when I’m designing something because I just think it’s so fun. There’s something about nicely aligned designs that just makes me feel good. I also like putting thought into what I create so it feels intentional not just for myself, but for others too. For example, my friend recently had a baby shower, and I really wanted to give her something more personal than just buying a gift so I designed her a quiz for the party.
I also enjoy photography, filming, and editing videos. Even as a kid, I loved making music videos with my friends. I would sit there as a 10-year-old and spend hours editing the videos we made 🎥.
What is something you are really proud of work-wise?
I would definitely say the Younium Trend Reports, we recently finished the latest one which has been a lot of work. We had to coordinate with external contributors, collect insights, and then bring everything together into a coherent piece.
But seeing the results has been very rewarding. Both of our two latest trend reports are our most downloaded content pieces ever, which makes me very proud. It has also been a true team effort across the marketing department, and the fact we achieved this together makes me even prouder!
How would you spend your ideal weekend?
That really depends on my mood, but right now my ideal weekend would be quite calm and social. I’d wake up early, go to the gym, and then have breakfast at my favorite bakery in Västerås, Bageri April — they have the best sandwiches! ☀️ 🏋🏼♀️ 🥪
And of course, in my ideal weekend, I wouldn’t have to pay for anything — everything would just happen to be free. After that perfect start to the day, it would continue being about good food and good company. I’d have lunch or dinner at a nice restaurant with my friends, family, or my boyfriend, and depending on the mood, we might also go out for drinks.
A very different, but also ideal weekend would be escaping somewhere warmer than Sweden and spending the whole day in the sun.
What would you choose if you could only have one food for the rest of your life?
That’s such a hard question, I love so many different foods but I think I’d have to say steak and fries with béarnaise sauce. That’s a combination I could honestly eat again and again 🥩🍟.
Fun fact: Even though béarnaise sauce is originally French, I hardly came across it when I lived in Lyon for a while. So my roommates and I actually had to learn how to make it from scratch because we couldn’t find a good one in the stores.
Name the top 3 best things with Younium.
The people, first of all. There’s a really special vibe here. It really feels like we’re all in this together, and people are supportive and open with each other.
Then also the flexibility and remote work. I love being able to work from wherever it suits me best; at home, on the train, or at a coffee shop. At the same time, working from home can sometimes feel isolating, so I’m also happy we have an office to go to and enjoy the social aspect of work as well.
And lastly, the opportunity to grow and develop your skill set at Younium. If you stay curious, ask questions, and show initiative, there’s always room to learn and progress here 🚀 !
