We're seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion Observability – Design end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Prometheus to proactively detect and resolve issues
Lead Incident Response – Own production incidents end-to-end, including triage, root-cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures
Design for Resilience – Build and continuously test high-availability and disaster-recovery setups across regions
Architect & Operate Azure Infrastructure – Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking
Own Infrastructure-as-Code – Develop and maintain Terraform (HCL) modules and enforce Git-based workflows for traceability and consistency
Run Container Platforms – Operate and optimise AKS/Docker environments and the full lifecycle of containerised applications
Optimise Cost & Capacity – Monitor usage, right-size resources, and drive ongoing cost efficiency initiatives
Maintain CI/CD Pipelines – Ensure reliable and efficient delivery pipelines in collaboration with engineering teams
Embed Security & Governance – Implement and enforce Azure security best practices and compliance standards
Leverage AI & Automation – Actively use AI tools to automate workflows, improve troubleshooting, and enhance engineering productivity and system reliability
Requirements:
5+ years of Azure engineering experience working with production systems
Strong observability expertise – hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor/Log Analytics
Deep Azure knowledge – across infrastructure, networking, identity, and security aligned with Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework
Experience with high-availability systems – including autoscaling and multi-region architectures
Security-first mindset – knowledge of zero-trust, RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud
Terraform expertise – building reusable modules, managing state, and implementing policy-as-code
CI/CD experience – with tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
AI-driven mindset – actively using AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, copilots, automation agents) to improve workflows and outcomes
Bonus:
Experience or strong interest in working with LLMs (e.g., Claude) and integrating AI into engineering workflows
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone with strong analytical ability who can quickly understand complex situations and ask the right questions to get to the core of a problem. You take ownership seriously and are someone others can rely on, especially when it comes to maintaining system uptime and meeting SLAs. You’re comfortable working in smaller, fast-moving teams where priorities can shift and delivery cycles are short, and you bring a proactive, hands-on mindset to that environment. At the same time, you have a genuine interest in AI tools and enjoy experimenting—whether in your day-to-day work or through personal projects—to find smarter, more efficient ways of working.
Our team
We are a team of 75 people working from Stockholm, Malmö, Amsterdam, Philadelphia, and remotely.
We are proud to have a strong community and good team spirit, and we are agile, constantly evolving in a growth-oriented environment. We have clear responsibilities and defined ownership, but with a mindset to collaborate and support one another throughout the team. There are plenty of opportunities and room to grow, a belief in inclusion, and allowing people to grow, learn, and contribute. We offer sustainable working conditions and a work-life balance, facilitated by the ability to work remotely and enjoy flexible working hours. Ultimately, our ongoing goal is to have fun in everything we do, both at work and outside.
📆 ⏰ The preferred starting date for this position is ASAP.
📍 Please note that we do not offer any relocation package, nor will we recruit outside the EU for this position. This role will be based in Kraków with a hybrid remote setup, preferably looking for consultants.
